Nine Step Guide To Ordering Team Uniforms

Here are nine easy steps to create your custom team uniforms and jerseys with TeamSportswear.com. Review the information below. In step 7 you can print out a Team Uniform order form worksheet and a sketch form to make it very easy and convenient for you to compile your team information.

This guide helps you cover all your bases. When you finish complete our Request For Team Quote located at the top right hand corner of each TeamSportswear.com web pages. We will get back to you right away.

Here is the information you will want to put together:

1. Choose a uniform style, item number, and color

1. Choose a uniform style, item number, and color

This information can be gathered from the product page of the jersey you are ordering from our site. If you haven't seen our collection of custom jerseys visit www.TeamSportswear.com. If you don’t see what you want, contact our team specialists and we will find it for you!

2. Choose a location(s) for your custom numbers and design

You will want to get a general idea of how many location placements you want on your uniform. Typically there will be a placement on the front of a jersey and then a number and/or name printed on the back. You you can choose right chest, left chest, full chest placements on the front and upper back and back placement on the back. Use our sketch form to illustrate what you want.

3. Choose the color(s) to be applied to your jersey

One or two-color designs and numbers are available. We can offer additional embroidery colors at no extra charge. Consult our team specialist for best options.

4. Ordering names and numbers for uniforms

The style and color of uniform numbers are based on the sport, style or color of the uniform. Click here for more info.

5. Choosing fonts and layout options

Designs will be created proportionate so if a rectangular shaped standard adult jersey reaches 11" wide, it may be only 6" tall due to the shape of the design. Click here to view the options available. Please choose one of the following print options:

6. Choose the design, mascot, logo application

We offer the whole gamma of sports customization choices that include screen print, heat transfer printing, embroidery, or tackle twill on varsity jackets and select sports jerseys.

A Note About Tackle Twill

Twill is a cotton fabric that is pre-cut into letters or designs that then get hand or machine sewn onto Varsity jackets or high-end jerseys. Twill is machine washable, won't shrink or run and gives that nostalgic, upscale look to your uniforms or jackets. Generally is it much more expensive than printing. We do require a 12-piece minimum for tackle twill lettering.

Typical size of twill letters for school names and sports for Varsity jackets is 3" high. However if number of characters exceed (10) then they can be reduced to about 2". Tackle twill can be sewn using the Full Block or Athletic Script fonts and Full Block numbers as indicated in this page:

8. Go to our Request For Uniform Price Quote Form

You can easily submit your team uniform information via our convenient Request For Uniform Price Quote Form. Our team specialists will email you back a quote within 2-business days.

9. Order Instructions

Once you have figured out your uniform order (style, color, quantities and decoration options) we will email a written quote to you that details the uniform and apparel personalization. Please be careful to ensure the accuracy of the information provided (correct spelling, capitalization & punctuation, color, layout, fonts, logos and any other relevant information). In order to proceed with your order, you must confirm that all information is correct and that it is ok to bill and process your custom order. Your item will be customized using the information you provide. Payment for your custom order must be received in full before work can begin.

If you do not confirm your oder or do not provide us with the necessary decoration specifics {number, player name, etc.) your order will be placed on hold until we can verify this information. This is likely to delay your order. If you're not sure about fit, color, etc. please order appropriate samples. Our samples program offers you 50% off on non-decorated items. Samples

Once items have been decorated, they CAN NOT be returned or exchange unless for defects in workmanship. For items that are numbered, if specific numbers are not selected we will choose the appropriate number style and assign numbers starting with #1 and ending with the total number of items ordered. TeamSportswear reserves the right to alter the size and/or layout of lettering, logo, or design so that it will fit and look attractive on the uniform ordered.
